XRP, Polygon top large cap gainers in range-bound crypto market: CryptoSlate Daily wMarket Update

The cryptocurrency market cap saw net outflows of $0.46 billion over the last 24 hours and currently stands at $1.02 trillion — down 0.05% from $1.02 trillion.

Over the reporting period, Bitcoin and Ethereum’s market cap fell 0.08% and 0.02% to $431.8 billion and $191.34 billion, respectively.

The top 10 crypto assets recorded a mixed performance over the last 24 hours. The top gainers were XRP and Polygon, up 2.4% and 2.3%, respectively. In contrast, Litecoin fared worst, down 2%.

In the last 24 hours, the market cap of Tether (USDT) increased to $71.59 billion. Meanwhile, USD Coin (USDC) and Binance USD (BUSD) fell to $43.67 billion and $8.44 billion, respectively.

Bitcoin

In the last 24 hours, Bitcoin decreased 0.1% to trade at $22,363 as of 07:00 ET. Its market dominance increased to 42.4% from 42.3%.

Over the reporting period, BTC peaked at $22,600, leading to a sharp dip that found support at $22,320. Bears cut short a recovery, slapping the price back down at the $22,558 level. The leading cryptocurrency has since been trending down.

Ethereum

Over the last 24 hours, Ethereum fell 0.02% to trade at $1,563 as of 07:00 ET. Its market dominance stayed flat at 18.8%.

During the reporting period, ETH traded between $1,559 and $1,584, forming a double-bottom pattern while being rejected twice at the $1,584 zone. The second rejection resulted in a gradual downtrend.

Mask Network

MASK is the day’s biggest gainer, rising 16.9% over the reporting period to $3.84986 as of press time. Korean exchange Upbit announced adding the MASK token with effect from March 7. Its market cap stood at $262.56 million.

EVER increased 15.9% in the last 24 hours to trade at $0.10796 as of press time. Bybit users voted to list the EVER token. Its market cap stood at $187.58 million.

Ren

REN jumped 14.5% to $0.12851. No new fundamental developments were noted. Its market cap stood at $128.39 million.

TrueFi

TRU gained 9.4% in the last 24 hours to trade at $0.12670. Binance launched a TRU perpetual futures contract on March 6. Its market cap stood at $124.17 million.

FLOKI

FLOKI is up 8.2% to $0.00004 as of press time. The project announced being listed on WazirX. Its market cap stood at $392.42 million.

LQTY is the day’s biggest loser, falling 11% to trade at $1.98220 at the time of writing. Binance listed the token on March 1. Its market cap stood at $180.47 million.
