During the reporting period, the market caps of Bitcoin and Ethereum increased by 0.4% and 1.7% to $544.4 billion and $219.4 billion, respectively.

The top 10 cryptocurrencies recorded gains over the last 24 hours, except for BNB  — which fell 2.4%. However, XRP leads the gainers, posting 15.7% gains, followed by Cardano, up 9.9%. Market leader Bitcoin stayed flat, with buy-side bias, recording just 0.4% gains.

In the last 24 hours, the market cap of Tether (USDT) increased to $77.56 billion. Meanwhile, USD Coin (USDC) fell to $35.2 billion, and Binance USD (BUSD) held flat at $8.1 billion.

Bitcoin

In the last 24 hours, Bitcoin increased by 0.4% to trade at $28,150 as of 07:00 ET. Its market dominance fell to 46.3% from 46.5%.

During the reporting period, Bitcoin peaked at $28,441 before trending lower. After finding a local bottom of $27,901, the leading cryptocurrency crept marginally higher.

Ethereum

Over the last 24 hours, Ethereum grew 1.7% to trade at $1,791 as of 07:00 ET. Its market dominance increased to 18.6% from 18.5%.

During the reporting period, Ethereum topped out at $1,840, and the ensuing downtrend bottomed at $$1,782. The second-largest cryptocurrency moved into a tight trading range between $1,783 and $1,814.

Vibing

VBG is the day’s biggest gainer, rising 56.1% over the reporting period to $0.96734 as of press time. The project recently announced the development of its DAO community and “enterprise cooperation.” Its market cap stood at $138.18 million.

XRP

XRP gained 16.6% to $0.45406 as of press time. There are no confirmed significant fundamental developments, but rumors talk of the imminent end of the SEC lawsuit and increased whale activity. Volume is up 325% over the last 24 hours. Its market cap stood at $23.13 billion.

Celer Network

CELR surged 14.8% to $0.02403 as of press time. The project announced its Brevis platform based on zero-knowledge data attestation. Its market cap stood at $170.29 million.

Gitcoin

GTC is among the day’s top gainers after increasing 14.3% to $2.25656 at the time of writing. The token is up 27.8% over the past week. Its market cap stood at $135.2 million.

Algorand

ALGO is up 12.2% to $0.23702 as of press time. The project said its AlgoKit developer portal would be released soon. Its market cap stood at $1.69 billion.

CORE is the day’s biggest loser, falling 13.1% to trade at $2.11859 at the time of writing. The token was among yesterday’s top gainers. Its market cap stood at $147.52 million.
